Mission

Friends of the Earth is an organization that defends the environment and advocates for a healthy and just world. They conduct research and education, work to transform the economy to protect the environment and enhance well-being, and build movements in the US and globally. Through outreach and membership programs, they educate the public about environmental threats and encourage participation in positive outcomes. Their work includes protecting pollinators, public lands, and communities from harm. They also focus on promoting a just and sustainable food system and advocating for clean energy and conservation while opposing dirty energy sources.
