GROW DAT YOUTH FARM

Mission

Grow Dat Youth Farm nurtures young leaders through the meaningful work of growing food. Their core leadership program involves 48 young adults practicing sustainable agriculture, developing community leadership skills, and increasing food access. They grew and harvested over 34,250 pounds of fresh produce. The advanced leadership program deepens facilitation skills and knowledge of sustainable agriculture, community leadership, and food systems. The seed project involves 12 young adults increasing fresh food access for local organizations by guiding them in building raised garden beds, planting crops, and maintaining gardens.
