Mission

Healthy Chesapeake Inc is committed to building a culture of wellness in Chesapeake, Virginia. They develop population health programs and support community partners in areas such as access to healthy foods and active lifestyles. Their mission is to create a healthier Chesapeake and they work with community partners to provide equal access to health opportunities. Their programming focuses on social determinants of health, including health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment. They also develop collaborative programs to support access to healthy food and combat food insecurity, as well as initiatives that promote physically and mentally active lifestyles for seniors and children.
