INQUILINOS UNIDOS
Mission
For more than 40 years, we’ve been working with tenants to fight for safe, decent, and affordable housing in Los Angeles.
And we have made a difference! IU was instrumental in the development of the 100-million dollar Housing Trust Fund for the City of Los Angeles and in the creation of the Rent Escrow Account Program (REAP), a city-wide code-enforcement program designed to engage tenants and compel negligent landlords to make much needed repairs.
We’re an independent organization supported by a combination of private foundation donors and individuals just like you, and we need you to help keep us going!
