Jeremiah Program

Mission

Jeremiah Program is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to end the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children two generations at a time. Education and housing stability are key levers at the heart of jeremiah program's model. The organization partners with families headed by single mothers whose connections to the educational and economic resources needed to build family well-being have become frayed over time by economic, racial, and social marginalization. Programming currently reaches more than 750 women and children annually, primarily from communities of color.
