Just City

Mission

Just City Inc. pursues a smaller, fairer, and more humane criminal justice system for families and communities. They support criminal record expungement through the Clean Slate Fund, providing financial assistance for fees and legal services. They also provide bail assistance for low-risk individuals referred by the Shelby County Pre-Trial Services and Public Defender Office. Through advocacy, community outreach, media creation, and education, Just City aims to change the narrative of criminal justice and foster a more equitable system.
