Kensington Voice

Mission

We're Kensington Voice, a nonprofit community hub and newsroom serving North Philly’s Fairhill, Harrowgate, Kensington, Norris Square, and Port Richmond neighborhoods. We are fiscally sponsored by the Federation of Neighborhood Centers. We believe that no person deserves to be left behind but that everyone has a voice to change the systems that leave them there. We also believe the best way to promote system-wide change is to prioritize the needs of everyday people in our communities. Through everything we do, we aim to engage the people we serve in opportunities to exercise their voices. We do this to positively impact their attitudes and emotions, relationships, communities, and society.
