Mission

Medical Students for Choice (MSFC) aims to address the lack of trained abortion providers by advocating for reproductive health care, including abortion, to be integrated into medical education and residency training. They organize educational events on medical school campuses, reform curriculum to include more information about reproductive health and abortion, and provide financial support for medical students and residents seeking first-hand abortion training. Despite COVID restrictions, they continue to support participants through grants and reimbursements, resulting in increased knowledge and intention to provide abortion. MSFC also hosts virtual conferences and training institutes, providing education on abortion provision to a selective group of attendees.
