MICHIGAN ORGANIZING PROJECT

Mission

In 2012, the Michigan Organizing Project (MOP) and the Alliance for Immigrant Rights (AIR) merged to form a statewide organization of churches, labor, and community groups to ensure that the Michigan economy works for the many with a strong democracy and full civil rights protections. In March of 2013, Michigan United was formed and has worked for nearly ten years to build a more just Michigan through strategic legislative and electoral campaigns, community service and education, and leadership development.
