NATIONAL LGBTQ TASK FORCE

Mission

The National LGBTQ Task Force is dedicated to achieving complete equality and justice for LGBTQ people and their families. They work to build power, take action, and create change within the broader progressive movement. Their mission is to promote a society that values and respects the diversity of human expression and identity, while striving for equity for all. In FY2022, they successfully held the Creating Change conference online, engaged young people in voter education, advocated for LGBTQ rights in response to various issues and policies, and co-led the FedWatch Network to advance the interests of marginalized communities.
