Reparation Generation
Mission
Reparation Generation seeks emotional reconciliation through truth-telling and by transferring wealth from White Americans to Black Americans. We raise funds from individuals, corporations, and foundations as our personal reparation for slavery in the United States and the resulting legacy of economic and social oppression. Our Black founders direct our investment strategy with the goal of cultivating intergenerational wealth for members of the Black community.
We are an interracial movement of citizens across the U.S. who recognize our country’s legacy of institutional racism and our own participation in this unjust system. Together we are building a bridge of truth and social solidarity and demonstrating how reparations help heal our communities and improve Black Americans’ opportunities for wealth-building pursuits.
