Sahar Education

Mission

Sahar Education partners with Afghan-based organizations to build schools and create educational opportunities for girls in Afghanistan. They empower and inspire children and their families to build peaceful and thriving communities. In 2022, Sahar paid stipends to former program staff for food and housing assistance. They also supported a mobile literacy program for children and young adults from a nomadic tribe without access to schooling, providing teacher stipends and books. Additionally, Sahar supported an English language digital literacy and women's health empowerment program for high school-aged girls, including teacher stipends, materials, and transportation.
