Mission

Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States. Addiction is treatable, so why are we losing someone to a drug overdose every five minutes? Recovery changes everything. With your help, we can save lives.

Shatterproof is changing the healthcare system so the nearly 49 million people struggling with addiction in America have access to quality treatment that's based on science — just like treatment for any other disease. We support millions of people by advocating for lifesaving policy changes, providing educational resources and tools, and hosting national events that build community among those impacted by addiction. We've gathered a group of industry experts, representing federal and state agencies, addiction treatment providers, health systems, consumer advocacy groups, academic institutions, and healthcare payers and purchasers. This National Addiction Treatment Quality Committee is essential to advising on where we as a field go from here.
