Mission
The Sierra Club's mission is to explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the Earth, promote responsible use of ecosystems and resources, educate and engage humanity in environmental protection, and use lawful means to achieve these objectives. They support and fund volunteer-led chapters and groups, provide information and education through their magazine, Sierra, and online store, and align their online activities with the broader strategy of the organization. Sierra Magazine is published five times a year with a print run exceeding 600,000 magazines. They also offer Sierra Club branded merchandise for sale.
