The US Climate Action Network (USCAN) aims to build trust and alignment among its members to fight climate change in a just and equitable way. They support member participation in education coalition activities, provide leadership and guidance, offer peer-learning opportunities, scholarships for leaders of color and low-wealth communities, and grants for grassroots and frontline groups. USCAN also facilitates collaboration in international spaces and influences the design of effective global strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They maintain a democratic network where members decide on program priorities. Additionally, USCAN's Southeast Climate and Energy Network focuses on securing fair and just climate and energy policies, while the Green New Deal Coordination Team works towards groundbreaking legislation. Their vision is to achieve just and equitable policies that align with climate science's goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
