Host Organization: Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthanmdi-circle-small Ajmer, India, Rajasthan, India mdi-circle-small http://www.rsksindia.ngo

About

This project will provide essential educational support-such as school bags, uniforms, fees, books, sweaters, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other stationery-to more than 4000 underprivileged girl students from rural & urban slum regions of Rajasthan, India. By reducing financial barriers, the project will enable these marginalized children to continue their education, improve their learning outcomes, and build a brighter future. Ultimately, it will empower them with better opportunities.

Need

According to the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan survey (2013-14), nearly 13.20 lakh children in the 6-14 age group drop out of school every year in Rajasthan. These children face numerous challenges in accessing education. Due to the dire economic conditions of deprived families, parents are unable to bear school expenses, forcing even intelligent and ambitious students to remain far away from education.

Long term impact

Through the distribution of educational materials, 2,500 girls will receive crucial support to continue their schooling and access better opportunities for higher education. This initiative will significantly reduce school drop-out rates and ensure that education becomes a sustainable pathway for their future. As girls progress in their studies, they will contribute to the development of their villages, while even illiterate parents will benefit from the positive impact.
