The training will provide the beneficiaries needed skills and materials. The project will be implemented in three (3) locations which are Juba, Wau and Malakal respectively. In order to equip 150 youth and 150 women in these areas with materials and skills.

Need

The civil war broke out in South Sudan after two years of independence. This war destroyed the poor infrastructure and destabilized the economy. The outbreak of violence put human rights into dire situation and resulted in awful atrocities. As of today the perpetrators were not taken to answer in the court of law. This made the need to revenge to rise higher. It is the will of the Hope Society to deescalate the violence and revenge killings, by using arts and culture to bring about lasting peace

Long term impact

It is worth noting that project is going to train 150 women from three (3) different regions and 150 youth who have skills in acting, painting and craft making.
