Seeking and Acting on Feedback: A Conversation with The Denver Foundation

Host Organization: Center for Effective Philanthropy and The Denver Foundation

About

There has never been a greater need for foundations to know how grantees are experiencing their relationship and whether they are getting what they need to have impact. But the question remains: what’s the best way to find out?

Join Austin Long, CEP’s director of assessment and advisory services, and Dace West, vice president of community impact at the Denver Foundation, for a discussion about how to listen and respond to feedback from your nonprofit partners. Dace will talk with Austin about her recent experience using CEP’s Grantee and Applicant Perception Reports, as well as share the changes that The Denver Foundation has made based on what they learned.

This interactive webinar is a great opportunity to learn about what a robust feedback process actually looks like through the eyes of an experienced foundation leader. If you’ve ever wondered about how to best understand your foundation’s strengths and areas of improvement, join us in discussing the widely used and rigorous assessments CEP provides. Make sure to bring your questions, too — there will be plenty of time to ask them!
