The Changing Landscape of Global Philanthropy and Development

Host Organization: Lilly Family School of Philanthropy

About

Over the past decade, philanthropy has taken an increasingly large and visible role in global development, but what we know about global philanthropy is limited by the available data.

A panel of distinguished policy makers, researchers, and philanthropy leaders will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing companies, foundations, governments, and nonprofits as they tackle global issues including public health, education, rights, and assisting children, highlighting the need for high quality and timely data to support research and inform policy.

Featuring:

  • Anindya Chatterjee, Ph.D., Regional Director, Asia, International Development Research Centre
  • Roopa Kudva, Managing Director of Omidyar Network India
  • Neera Nundy, Co-Founder, Dasra
  • Una Osili, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Research and International Programs, IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy
  • Ingrid Srinath, Director, Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy, Ashoka University
