A unique partnership has been launched to help the critical organizations that provide assistance to the most vulnerable of our local residents being affected by the COVID-19 public health crisis. The Tampa Bay Resiliency Fund is a new strategic collaboration of the Pinellas Community Foundation, Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg and United Way Suncoast with nearly $1 million of funding assistance available to nonprofit 501(c) organizations and governmental agencies.
Investment allocations from this fund will be made through a lens of serving the most vulnerable by race and socioeconomic status.
This is an evidence-informed response to a public health crisis, and our response will be led by the public health department’s epidemiology and staying abreast of the growing knowledge of best responses.
Funding allocations will be prioritized generally among the following three categories: Protection of life, mitigation of additional harm, and strengthening nonprofits related to critical intervention services to the community.
The Pinellas Community Foundation (PCF) is the only charitable organization of its kind dedicated to perpetually enhancing the lives of every Pinellas County resident. Serving Pinellas for nearly a half-century, more than 130 charitable agencies rely on generous donor-funded grants distributed annually by PCF.
We are a nonprofit too. Donate to Giving Compass to help us guide donors toward practices that advance equity.
