Mission

The purpose of OSPIRG Foundation, Inc. is to act on behalf of the public interest by means of charitable, educational, or any other activities within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Within these general purposes, the specific purposes include the following issue areas: consumer protection, environmental protection, environmental and occupational health promotion, energy policy, utility reform, promotion of the democratic process, promotion of corporate integrity and responsibility, and any other areas which the board of directors might approve.
