Mission

Ridge Area Arc is a non-profit charitable organization that demonstrates excellence in providing a continuum of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Founded in 1957 by the Franklin and Mary Ellen Ward Family, Ridge Area Arc's mission is to serve and advocate for individuals with developmental and other disabilities so that they may have the opportunity to choose and realize their goals in life, work, and play. Ridge Area Arc serves as the area's trusted expert in diversity and community inclusion, as well as advocacy and social justice issues for the disability community.
