Rising Voices seeks to organize and develop the leadership of Asian American women (cis, trans, Gender Non-Conforming and femme-identifying) and young people for power around progressive values and policy in the state of Michigan. Their theory of change includes multiple strategies for power: developing leadership and organizing capacity within Asian American communities, growing the political education and relational organizing of Asian American women and young people in particular, moving local state and federal progressive policy, and helping elect progressive candidates to champion those issues.
