The purposes for which the corporation is organized are exclusively charitable, educational, scientific, literary and for the prevention of cruelty to children within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Specific emphasis: to provide educational resources and information to immigrants in New Mexico regarding rights, protections, and remedies; develop and implement strategies to protect immigrants' civil and human rights; and organize activities that increase public awareness about immigrant issues in New Mexico and elsewhere.
