Prisoner support -- in 2019, Trans Pride Initiative supported through letter writing and advocacy approximately 448 incarcerated persons, the majority being trans and queer prisoners in Texas. Approximately 45 volunteers provided nearly 900 hours of service for this program, and staff volunteered about 2,225 hours.
