UNITE HERE Action Fund promotes social welfare within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code (“IRC”), including by assisting hospitality workers and their families to achieve economic, social, and racial justice in workplaces and communities through education and advocacy, leadership development, and promoting full participation in civic life. Founded in 2020, UNITE HERE Action Fund has been active in Nevada and several other states across the country and will continue its efforts throughout 2022 with a particular focus on advancing civic participation.
