"From the Motor City to the shore of Lake Superior, We the People Michigan is building long-term deep organizing infrastructure that can foster stable, long-lasting alliances across urban, suburban, and rural communities and provide an engine for lifelong learning. In addition to focusing on elections, this work centers local and regional issues that impact Michigan communities and creates accountability for corporate and elite actors that often shape policy landscapes. To build a durable multiracial majority, We the People Michigan leverages political education, storytelling, power mapping, racial healing, cultural organizing, and strong alliance building with an explicit racial justice lens.
