Our company tagline is “Driven by data, guided by compassion.” This expression is reflected in the work we do, the people we hire, and the way we treat our employees, clients, and partners.

Living this motto means that we have a responsibility as a company to give back to the people and communities around us. Corporate social responsibility has been a priority at Nuna since the early days, and continues to play an important role today.

Nuna is a relatively young, small startup. So why have we chosen to invest time and resources into corporate social responsibility efforts now?

The simple answer is that being socially-driven is core to Nuna’s existence. We were founded with a vision to transform the healthcare system so that one day, affordable, high-quality care is accessible to everyone. Activities to improve the well-being of communities around us are a natural complement to the work we do for our clients.

Our CEO Jini Kim has always been passionate about giving back, but organized corporate social responsibility activities really took off when a group of employees put together a plan to move away from one-off activities, like a holiday donation drive we did in 2016, to a more formal program that could scale as our company grows.
