We connect donors to learning resources and ways to support community-led solutions. Learn more about us.
On April 13, 2022 Headwaters hosted our second installment of a new series called Tributary Talks. These conversations are hosted by Headwaters President Maria De La Cruz, who invites friends and colleagues into a virtual space to publicly share stories and insights about a particular topic. This is the complete closed-captioned recording of The Donor’s Role in Resourcing Movements, which attracted over 200 registrations and tackled questions related to how donors can think about meaningful, value-aligned giving more expansively.
The three influential guest speakers who joined us--Hali Lee, Nneka Onwuzurike, and Elizabeth Scott--shared personal and professional learnings about class and wealth privilege, the power of relationships, and how a donor’s shift of perspective and approach can shift philanthropy for the better.
