It’s an evolution that Sarah Currid, managing director of Samaschool, knows well.

Samaschool is a program of the nonprofit Samasource that aims to help low-income individuals become successful freelancers in today's changing job landscape. As the managing director of Samaschool, Currid is responsible for advancing partnerships with workforce development organizations and integrating a very specific focus — navigating the gig economy — into their existing training programs.
