Ever since being signed by producer David Foster at the age of 17, Josh Groban had participated in charity events and encouraged his fans to support a variety of causes. But the Grammy winner was surprised when his fans interrupted one of his concerts in 2005 to give him a jumbo $50,000 check.

They gathered autographs of mine and sold them on eBay, which would normally be a not so nice thing to do. But they stopped the show and they said, ‘We, your fans, are giving you this money back and we want you to start a foundation.

In the past six years, Find Your Light has funded nearly 60 arts organizations across the country, including children’s choirs in Colorado and Indiana and youth symphony orchestras in Florida, Ohio and Iowa.
