Angel Beltran is a marketing coordinator at Antis Roofing and Waterproofing — a roofing and waterproofing provider for homeowners’ associations and multi-family residential communities in Southern California. Their mission: to keep families safe and dry. They accomplish this through their prowess in roof maintenance and by supporting nonprofits!

In 2017, Antis donated over $700,000 in cash and in-kind donations to over 40 of the local and national nonprofits they support. They’ve also provided and installed the roofs of every Habitat for Humanity home built in Orange County since 2009, pro bono (nearly 70 homes) — a noteworthy accomplishment!

It’s this determination to good causes that led Angel to take the lead in rallying engaged staff to participate in VolunteerMatch’s #GiveTime Sweeps. Responsible for capturing video submissions, editing in post-production, and publishing on social media, Angel oversaw every step of the campaign.

“On #GivingTuesday we had approximately 10 employees that talked about the nonprofits they support [as part of VolunteerMatch’s #GiveTime sweeps],” says Susan DeGrassi, Antis’ director of cause. “Annually we contribute hundreds of hours in volunteer time to the community.”
