How Local and National Funders Support Refugees, Asylees and Asylum Seekers

Host Organization: San Diego Women's Foundation

About

As SDWF moves forward in our efforts to support refugees, aslyees and asylum seekers, join us for this opportunity to learn from other funders who are working in this space.

Our expert panelists will share WHY they are focused on these communities, HOW they are supporting their needs, WHO else they're working with, and WHAT gaps we can help fill with our funding this cycle.

This learning session will feature panelists from organizations that are leading the way in community change:

  • Huong Nguyen-Yap | Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees
  • Kris Lin-Bronner | Dr. Bronner's Family Foundation
  • Rosario Iannacone | Price Philanthropies

Please note that this event is not open nonprofit staff members, except SDWF members and those interested in membership. Networking for fundraising purposes is strictly prohibited at this and all SDWF events.
