Join The Washington Global Health Alliance (WGHA), Every Woman Treaty, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019. Hear inspiring stories from the frontlines of women’s rights work. Learn how violence against women and girls presents a threat to improving health equity for all.

Participants will have the opportunity to join the global call for a treaty to end violence against women and girls and interact with inspiring exhibits at the Discovery Center.

Speakers include:

  • Bindiya Patel, Senior Director at PATH and WGHA Board Member
  • Dr. Pamela Collins, Professor and Director of Global Mental Health at University of Washington
  • Erin Hohlfelder, Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation

Keynote by Dr. Eleanor Ann Nwadinobi, Activist, Senior Associate, Social Development Direct, President Elect of the Medical Women International Association
