Is COVID-19 Changing Business as Usual? The Corporate Response

Philanthropy New York

About

The world has changed rapidly due to the COVID-19 crisis, and the transformation will continue over the foreseeable future. For corporations, the changes are impacting business models, bottom lines and ways of working, and their CSR programs.

This session will delve into the different ways that CSR efforts are supporting the collective health, sustainability and resilience of communities around the world as well as how the work and approach (including initiatives and programs) are evolving.

Explore

  • How to make decisions on how best to respond and include multiple stakeholders in the process (e.g. C-Suite,
  • Cross-Functional Teams, Community Partners and Public Sector)
  • What questions to ask when making decisions that can either align with or depart from ongoing focus areas and initiatives
  • How to manage relationships, including external communications, with existing partners in light of any potential changes to funding and sponsorship
  • Considerations in supporting long-term recovery and resiliency, beyond the response phase

Presenters

  • Sandy Fernandez, Senior Director, Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth
  • Tam Ho, Executive Director, Philanthropic Partnerships & Employee Engagement, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
