LA Arts Funders Meeting

Southern California Grantmakers

About

Kick off the new year at the first LA Arts Funders Meeting of 2019. This meeting will dive into a new set of thematic case studies on distributed leadership commissioned by the Hewlett Foundation Performing Arts Program.

Like many funders, the Hewlett Foundation has been interested in how their grantees are dealing with this new era of rapid generational, technological, economic and demographic change—a topic they explored in the 2016 report, Moving Arts Leadership Forward.

Program Director Emiko Ono and lead consultant Mike Courville will present the case studies’ findings on how several forward-thinking organizations are addressing the changing landscape by evolving their leadership practices to involve staff at all levels.

As usual, we’ll also reserve time to exchange updates and help requests among participants.

No cost to participate
