Local Learning: Homelessness Policy Update in LA

Funders Together to End Homelessness

About

Funders Together to End Homelessness – Los Angeles Network is pleased to invite private philanthropic funders to our next event on October 8: Federal and State Policy Update on Homelessness.

About the Event: The current unpredictable federal administration, a forthcoming election and a new state governor of California are only a few of the dynamics creating a rapidly changing political climate. What does this mean for philanthropy’s efforts to eradicate homelessness? Please join us for an in-depth conversation with federal and state policy experts for an update on the current state of housing and homelessness policy. Bring all of your most pressing questions around policy changes and the challenges and opportunities ahead to our dynamic panel of guests, including Nan Roman from the National Alliance to End Homelessness, Sharon Rapport from the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), Christopher Martin of Housing California, and Eric Ares from United Way of Greater Los Angeles.

RSVP with your name, organization and title to Emma Heffernan (emma@hiltonfoundation.org). Please note that this invitation is nontransferable. Should you have a specific question for our panelists related to homelessness policy, please feel free to include them in advance with your RSVP.
