Stop the Pebble Mine Approval [Teleconference]

Host Organization: Natural Resource Defense Council

About

You may already know that the Trump administration has cut a backroom deal with a Canadian company that wants to carve a massive gold and copper mine—along with 10 billion tons of waste—out of Alaska’s Bristol Bay wilderness, one of America’s last truly wild places. Since 2009, NRDC has been battling to stop the Pebble Mine—and just last year we were closer than ever to killing it. But now Trump's EPA is moving quickly to bring this nightmarish project back from the dead.

Please join me and Taryn Kiekow Heimer, Senior Policy Analyst of our Land and Wildlife Program,

Tuesday, October 3 at 3pm ET/2pm Central/12pm PT

for a teleconference to learn more about how NRDC is working to stop the Trump administration before this disastrous project can win final approval—and what you can do to help.

Please RSVP to Allison Kruk at akruk@nrdc.org , and we will send you call-in information.
