Traditions of Giving: Rekindling Our Connections

Southern California Grantmakers

About

“To get to the next level of greatness depends on the quality of our culture, which depends on the quality of our relationships, which depends on the quality of our conversations.” ~ Judith Glaser

Organized by SCG’s Family Philanthropy Advisory Council, Traditions of Giving is a time to reflect with friends and colleagues on inspirational stories that ultimately can improve the effectiveness of our giving. This year’s program is intentionally designed to create a space for empathy through a shared meal and compelling dialogue.

We all navigate a thousand points of communication daily, some are enriching, some less so.   How can we improve our personal and professional habits to better hear, understand and learn from each other?   How can stronger connections improve our grantmaking?

Please join us as professional facilitator Michael Kass leads us through a guided conversation around the power of interchange. In addition to being inspired by your colleagues, you will learn simple, actionable tools that can facilitate new connections and rekindle existing relationships within your family, professional circles and community.
