Using Catalytic Capital to Support Livelihoods

Host Organization: Network of Engaged International Donors

About

This Giving Circle will explore how diverse organizations leverage both philanthropic and investment capital to strengthen livelihoods and reduce poverty. NEID Global membership required, join or renew now at neidonors.org!

This Giving Circle will be led by long-time NEID member and philanthropist Mary Hawkins as well as Lindsey Zizumbo and Lauren Sercu of Sorenson Impact Advisory. This Circle will examine innovative approaches to deploying catalytic capital — flexible, patient, and risk-tolerant funds — that can drive sustainable solutions for income generation and economic resilience in underserved communities. The Circle sessions are January 14, February 4, March 4, April 8, May 13, June 3, and July 1 at 3:00 - 5:00 pm EST.

Once participation is confirmed, $1,300 pooled fund contribution will be required. Please note, we have changed partners for our Giving Circle grants and all payments will now be made via Myriad. This means that if you join a circle, you should make the payment for the Giving Circle ONLY directly to Myriad (instructions will be provided).
