In March 2020, The Cape Cod Foundation allocated $100,000 in discretionary money to seed The Cape Cod Foundation Strategic Emergency Response Fund. To date, we have raised $1.1 million in committed funds to support the continued operation of local nonprofit organizations as they address the impacts of COVID-19 on the health, economy, and vitality of Cape Cod during and after this challenging time.
This fund will provide resources in the near and longer-term to support the continued operation of vital Cape Cod nonprofit organizations as we address the evolving impacts of COVID-19, and other future emergencies, on the health, economy, and vitality of our community. The Strategic Emergency Response Fund compliments the efforts of those providing immediate aid and relief by providing needed operational support to local nonprofits during and after this challenging time.
The Cape Cod Foundation is a community foundation whose mission is to build permanent charitable resources for community betterment through informed grantmaking and civic leadership.
