Every dollar donated through this fund will go to Angelenos in need – $1,500 per month will keep a family of 6 from falling into crisis.
As we keep our distance to stay safe, we must otherwise come together as a community to help those of us most in need. The Angeleno Campaign provides direct and immediate financial assistance for individuals and families experiencing extreme financial hardship caused by a job loss, severe reduction of work hours, or furloughs. This includes low-wage hourly workers who had jobs in homes and restaurants, seasonal workers, and other precarious workers such as day laborers, street vendors, or self-employed individuals who are facing extreme economic hardship because of COVID-19.
The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving life for all Angelenos. Uniquely positioned at the crossroads of local government, business, philanthropy, and the non-profit sector, the Fund facilitates the communication and collaboration vital to solving Los Angeles’ most complex challenges.
