The One for Democracy Fund is focused on investing in nonprofits entrenched in the communities they serve and/or the issues they tackle. Their work to optimize mail-in voting systems, to expand digital organizing capacity, and to build power among underrepresented voters in their localities has predated the current election cycle and will continue beyond it. These groups have the expertise and trust already built to have maximum impact now, and the longevity to continue to expand the strength and reach of our democracy after this year’s contest is decided.
Our goal is to move at least $100M to the field. So far our pledgers have committed $38M.
