SWFL Emergency Relief Fund
About
By now, I'm sure you've seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian in Southwest Florida. Unfortunately, the destruction is as bad or worse than the news is reporting.
The county is without clean water, entire communities have been declared "uninhabitable", hospitals are being evacuated, and thousands are currently displaced.
100% of funds support SWFL nonprofits helping people affected by Hurricane Ian.
About the Host
You can see right off the bat that we’ve changed our name from the Southwest Florida Community Foundation to Collaboratory. But we’re up to something much bigger than a name change. We’re actually putting our name on the line for the change we seek to achieve. It’s audacious. We are committed to bringing Southwest Florida together to solve all of our major social problems on an eighteen-year deadline. You read that correctly. All of them. In eighteen years. Not alone, but with everyone. We plan to do this with the entire community working together including people of all ages, colors, abilities, beliefs, and imaginations across all five counties.
