Clergy And Laity United For Economic Justice
Mission
As CLUE, we educate, organize, and mobilize the faith community to accompany workers and their families in their struggle for good jobs, dignity, and justice. To further the work of building a just and sacred society, CLUE collaborates with over 600 religious leaders and 1200 lay people throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. These congregations represent a broad range of ethnic and denominational constituencies. CLUE engages in faith rooted organizing as a tool for advancing our mission, grounded in our beliefs. CLUE organizes religious leaders and their congregations using a hyper-local model of committees. Our team of faith-rooted organizers addresses worker justice in hospitality, ports, immigration, and a broad range of actions, and brings a moral voice to other select actions aligned with our mission.
