Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, fiscally sponsored by Tides Advocacy
Mission
FRRC is a grassroots, membership organization run by Returning Citizens (Formerly Convicted Persons) who are dedicated to ending the disenfranchisement and discrimination against people with convictions, and creating a more comprehensive and humane reentry system that will enhance successful reentry, reduce recidivism, and increase public safety.
FRRC’s platform is informed by the lived experiences of returning citizens from all walks of life, political persuasions, and regions of the state. Nearly 7,000 returning citizens filled out FRRC surveys, outlining the priorities and values of Florida’s returning citizen community. This platform is a blueprint for the policies that FRRC will work to enact moving forward.
