Mission
Poder NC Action is a pro-Black, pro-Latinx, pro-LGBTQ, and pro-Choice that focuses on civic and leadership development with values-aligned Latinxs. Poder NC’s approach invests in the leadership skills and civic development of nuestra gente so that North Carolinians have the tools they need to make their voices heard on issues they care about. Through leadership development, legislative accountability, and community organizing, Poder NC teaches the necessity of speaking truth to power, electing forward-thinking Latinx leaders across North Carolina who champion progressive values, and lean into rich cultural traditions to create engaging and relevant programs and campaigns.
