SEATTLE, WA, November 28, 2017 – Giving Compass, the first of its kind online portal aggregating information to encourage impact giving, and The Philanthropy Roundtable today announce the launch of a new partnership to provide donor guidance and resources encouraging voluntary private action.

Based in Washington, D.C., The Philanthropy Roundtable is dedicated to fostering excellence in philanthropy, protecting philanthropic freedom, assisting donors in achieving their philanthropic intent, and helping donors advance liberty, opportunity, and personal responsibility in America and abroad. The Roundtable accomplishes its mission through industry-leading publications, access to thought leaders and staff experts, world-class conferences and regional gatherings, and advocacy of philanthropic freedom.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with The Philanthropy Roundtable as we strive to provide diversity in content with representation across the sector,” said Stephanie Gillis, Senior Advisor, Impact Philanthropy, Giving Compass. “With the addition of the Roundtable, we can offer balanced perspectives across all issues in the charitable giving ecosystem. Our shared commitment to measurable results is what impact-driven philanthropy is all about.”

"We applaud Giving Compass and the leadership team at the Raikes Foundation for providing a gateway for donors to become more focused on outcomes,” says Angie Lawry, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at The Philanthropy Roundtable. “At their core, our missions are aligned to ensure that dollars have impact and donor intent is upheld. One way to do that is to work together to ensure that resources are centralized and donors have access to the support they need.”

As part of this new partnership, Giving Compass readers can now find Roundtable original content, such as articles, white papers, videos, and podcasts, under “Magazines” using the compass icon on any page of givingcompass.org.  In addition, visitors will find regular content features from The Philanthropy Roundtable as part of editorial selections on the homepage.

This partnership comes just after the Roundtable’s 26th Annual Meeting, held last month in Scottsdale, Arizona. Save the date for the 27th annual event in Palm Beach, Florida, October 25-26, 2018.

Giving Compass was born through a catalytic grant from the Raikes Foundation, founded by Jeff and Tricia Raikes.
