This project has evolved to welcome girls at CORETECH KAMARIE, a technical boarding high school in Bankondji, enabling them to develop critical thinking and technical skills in STEAM subjects. The girls now receive comprehensive education, building on their reading, math, and scientific knowledge to thrive academically and personally. The program nurtures their commitment to success and supports them in preparing for prosperous futures, whether pursuing higher education or entering the workforce
Need
Many girls in rural areas face challenges in accessing quality secondary education due to the low standards of primary schooling. With intervention, girls reach the necessary literacy, mathematics, and science proficiency to succeed school. The foundational gaps leave many needing help to pursue technical skills vital for future opportunities. By addressing these deficiencies, we ensure that girls develop the necessary academic and technical skills to excel at CORETECH KAMARIE.
Long term impact
By providing quality technical education at CORETECH KAMARIE, Aumazo equips girls with the skills needed for sustainable success. About the Organization
Aumazo, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is committed to transforming the educational landscape for girls in rural Cameroon through CORETECH KAMARIE, a technical boarding high school. Integrating a STEAM-based curriculum (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) with practical vocational training, Aumazo broadens students' horizons and strengthens their capacity for future leadership.
