Educate 500 Orphans in Syria
About
In Syria... did you know that thousands of orphans are deprived of their fundamental right to education? They suffer poverty and displacement without parental care. These young children carry significant burdens at such a tender age. Through our project, we strive to reach out and provide free education to 500 orphaned students in Syria. We are dedicated to offering an opportunity for a better future to these children facing challenging circumstances.
Need
196,000 orphans live in challenging conditions in Syria, with the majority residing in camps. These children are forced to drop out of school and resort to child labor. Instead of holding pens and notebooks, they clutch picks and irons, struggling to earn a meager living while enduring the harsh cold that gnaws at their tender bodies. They not only lack education but also the care of loving parents. This poses a threat to their future, as their present slips away, jeopardizing their path ahead.
Long term impact
Through educating orphans, we empower them to achieve their goals and become self-sufficient individuals equipped with knowledge and skills to care for themselves and their families. We reintegrate them into the education system and provide vocational training to equip them with the necessary skills for entering the job market. This enables them to earn a decent income and improve their quality of life without relying on external assistance
